Senior Services

The Division of Senior Services, operated by the Laurel Department of Parks and Recreation, serves senior adults 55 years of age or older.

The programs and services provided by the Department include recreational activities, educational classes, health-related programs, and transportation services. 

Senior Adult Programs & Classes

A wide variety of programs and classes are offered at various locations in Laurel. These locations include:

  • Greenview Drive Cabana
  • Laurel Armory - Anderson and Murphy Community Center
  • Robert J. DiPietro Community Center
  • Laurel Municipal Pool
  • Partnership Activity Hall
  • The Mansion at Laurel

Senior Trips

The Division of Senior Services offers many different and exciting trip opportunities throughout the year!

Shuttle Service

Day trips are offered to local malls and points of interest in the Washington/Baltimore and Virginia/Pennsylvania areas. The City of Laurel Senior Shuttle Service provides curb to curb service within the City of Laurel, Monday through Friday, by appointment and requires a $30 annual registration fee. The Division of Senior Services provides a monthly calendar of classes, trips and events.
