[Laurel, MD, June 24, 2025] The Craig A. Moe Laurel Multiservice Center, is a facility dedicated to fostering stability and self-sufficiency among our vulnerable populations. Your support is crucial in maintaining this vital resource for everyone who walks through its doors.
Recognizing the significant impact of volunteers, Mayor Keith R. Sydnor invites you to step forward as we embark on a new chapter with our new state-of-the-art facility and create a safe haven for those in need.
To help create that atmosphere, the Laurel Multiservice Center is seeking dedicated and committed volunteers to assist with a variety of services. The Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm, and flexible schedules will be available. Below are the roles we are looking to fill:
Laundry/Shower Attendant:
- Assist clients with the use of laundry facilities, ensuring machines are properly operated and maintained.
- Monitor Shower facilities, ensuring they are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and meet hygiene standards.
- Provide support to clients as needed, including answering questions and offering guidance on using the facilities.
Maintenance:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including light cleaning, and making sure the facility is well-kept.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings or events as needed.
Front Desk Attendant:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff as they enter the center.
