In observance of the Presidents' Day Holiday, City of Laurel offices, including the Passport Office, will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023. However, the Robert J. DiPietro Community Center and the Laurel Armory will be open during their regular hours of operation on February 20th.
Please be aware that the Department of Public Works will be picking up trash, recycling and composting on an altered schedule that week:
- Monday's Trash, Recycling and Compost pickup will be on Tuesday, February 21st (residential and commercial).
- Tuesday's Residential Trash, Recycling and Compost pickup will be on Wednesday, February 22nd, with no change to Tuesday's commercial collections.
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday's Trash, Recycling and Composting pickups are unchanged.
- There will be no yard debris or bulky item pickups this week.
DPW’s next bulky item and yard debris collections will be on Wednesday, March 1st.
