The City of Laurel will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. During that week we will have an adjusted trash, recycling, and composting collection schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday collections are unchanged.
- Thursday and Friday collections will be on Wednesday, November 26th, the day before the holiday.
- There will be no yard debris or bulky item collections on Wednesday, November 26th.
- The leaf vacuum truck will be in operation, but may arrive to your neighborhood ahead of schedule, so place your leaves out at least 1 day in advance.
The next yard debris and bulky item collection will be on Wednesday, December 3rd, following the holiday.
Friday, December 5th, marks our final day of leaf vacuuming.
